Key relationships:
  • Pharma Client Executives (C-Suite, SVP/VP, Directors)
  • Industry Thought Leaders and key cloud & AI partnerships  in the AI/ML space
  • Key influencers in the Analyst Community
  • Industry Thought Leaders in the areas of Pharma IT, Commercial and Clinical Business functions
  • C-suite & Department/Functional Heads
  • Client organization: account management & delivery
Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and execute a new GenAI horizontal practice: Device AI/ML offering to support direct GTM for horizontal and support for vertical (Pharma (Clinical & Commercial), Providers and others).
  • Work with Marketing for messaging and funnel creation
  • Present and solicit business in GenAI (and AI/ML in general) from existing base by collaborating with other partners
  • Provide industry point of view for innovation in Saama product in addition to services
  • Thought leadership and solution evengalization using AI/ML for specific personas in Clinical and commercial space
  • Advancing Saama brand in AI/ML solutions by presenting in key conferences and to analysts
  • Overall track and manage funnel and pipeline related to GenAI offering (Promote, finetune offering as required for desired growth)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, the company, and functional areas, strategically generate leads
  • Excellent organization and time management skills in prioritizing daily activities and responsibilities with focus on target
  • This role requires independent travel up to 30%.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related field
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in client relationship and engagement management roles (including client success roles) in data and analytics space for pharma clients. Strong existing relationships and knowledge of the target accounts and ecosystem
  • Industry experience and background in Clinical space
  • Experience in closing new services deals in large pharmaceutical companies in Pharma Commercial and Clinical
  • Exposure to product management or engineering a major plus
  • Owns a Revenue Target for the year and works with various internal teams (Sales/Product/Delivery/Practices) to ensure that the targets are met.
  • Create 30-60-90 day strategy and execution plan for effective launch of the practice
  • Showcase Saama’s point of view as a thought leader in the AI/ML space.
  • Be the Point person and trusted advisor for the client in case of any questions/concerns that might arise with respect to the overall relationship with Saama
  • Expected to be client’s executive level of escalation for AI/ML offering and should be able to address those issues in the best interest of the client

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
