Assistant Branch Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Monitor branch budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial reports to meet profitability targets.
- Identify standard operating procedures and learn the background on them so you understand why they are in place. Suggest improvements when appropriate
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff.
- Develop and maintain a positive, productive work environment
- Ensure all operations adhere to industry safety standards, local regulations, and company policies
- Set clear productivity benchmarks, evaluate employee performance, and implement training and development plans to enhance team capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
Requirements:
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze situations, evaluate options, and take swift, effective action
- Skilled in negotiating agreements and resolving conflicts with both customers and vendors.
- Proficient in building and maintaining positive relationships with employees, vendors, and customers.
- Capable of setting productivity standards and motivating teams to meet or exceed goal
- Ability to interpret and utilize accounting and financial reports
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
