Warehouse Worker

 

POSITION PURPOSE

The position of Warehouse Worker is critical to lead the Prefab and Warehouse team in the assembly of First Time Quality units to save production time in the field.

DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Coordination (60%)

  • Ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Conduct visual quality control
  • Communicate with plumbers to ensure that they have what they need to complete their tasks
  • Develop and communicate the daily tasks and assignments
  • Communicate daily with warehouse supervisor to resolve any issues

 

Inventory Control (20%)

  • Receive/deliver/cut gas pipe order deliveries and pick ups for the following day
  • Complete and submit inventory requisition sheets to purchasing
  • Complete the end of month inventory
  • Coordinate trash pickup with vendor(s)
  • Audit the truck pickup
  • Coordinate daily with Central Supply rep to ensure proper inventory levels

 

Back Up/Assembly (20%)

  • Provide tool room back up as needed
  • Assist as back up for valve sawdering, cut and gas, valve assembly, warehouse, etc.

  • 2-4 years of warehouse/manufacturing experience; sawdering experience a plus
  • Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting
  • Moderately noisy environment with light traffic, office equipment, and guest entrance
