Description

The CAD Designer role is critical to ensure first time quality for clients by producing accurate, timely and detailed information to estimating and field operations using CAD software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expertly manage multiple design projects simultaneously using CAD Software to produce plumbing and mechanical designs based on client and company specifications
• Consistently create pre-fab drawings and state, permit, and construction documents according to set timelines and expectations

• Accurately evaluate engineer drawings to identify opportunities to create a more efficient, cost-effective, code compliant design
• Comprehensively create material lists of all necessary materials for each design
• Carefully review and understand and articulate structural documents associated with each design and correctly interpret plumbing and HVAC code requirements to ensure designs are code compliant

• Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate and incorporate multiple perspectives into work product

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization

• Experienced in AutoCAD or other related software
• Ability to utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Suite, internet, email, and Bluebeam software
