The Fleet Associate is critical to the organization to manage fleet maintenance and costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•          Confidently oversee all fleet vehicle maintenance requirements through regular vehicle inspections and review and approval of all invoices for repairs and maintenance

•          Expertly make purchase recommendations to the management team as to whether a fleet vehicle should be sold or repaired.

•          Autonomously manage company excavator and trailer fleet vehicles

•          Accurately manage, distribute, and reconcile fleet fuel cards to drivers as needed.

•       · Thoroughly vet, select, and maintaining relationships with vehicle maintenance vendors

QUALIFICATIONS

•          Specialized Problem Solver- Oversees and provides expertise, supervision and troubleshooting across the fleet.

•          Accurate - Performs all duties with careful precision and expertise to ensure quality.

•          Task Orientation - Primarily focused on completing technical tasks.

•          Independent - Manages tasks proactively, motivated internally to achieve success at work.

•          Agile-Accommodates multiple priorities and can quickly shift attention to the highest critical need.

•          Clear, effective communications skills- both written and verbal

•          Ability to negotiate and resolve interpersonal issues assertively and effectively.

•          Proactive drive to get tasks accomplished independently.

•          Aptitude for prioritizing and problem-solving

•          Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization

•          Proficient in using basic office equipment.

•          Mastery of entire Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, plus Internet and email

•          Associate degree is required.

•          3 - 5 years of fleet supervisory or management experience preferred

•          Mechanical and tool usage and knowledge required SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday

LOCATION: On-site

SALARY: $18.00 up to $20.00
