Lead warehouse, prefab and delivery operations ensuring that production demands are met with the highest level of efficiency and accuracy. Maintain an approach of continuous improvement with warehouse operations and assist in the training and development of high potential team members within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse

          Coordinate all deliveries to achieve maximum efficiency in utilizing warehouse resources to minimize costs

          Ensure that all items received into warehouse are accurately accounted for and that no materials with damage are accepted

          Ensure all job pulls are 100% accurate to pick ticket produced and builder specific requirements

          Conduct inventory reconciliation as required ensuring accurate counts of all inventory items. This includes cycle counts, monthly & quarterly inventories.

          Identify root cause of inventory discrepancies and work with individuals or departments to prevent future variations.

          Process damaged and return items to help identify root cause for damage or return and implement processes or standards to eliminate damage

          Minimize dead stock items through timely processing of returns and coordinating the sale of items that cannot be returned.

          Facilitate the order/re-order of damaged or missing items.

          Initiate job sheet corrections when errors are discovered.

          Manage the “go back out” shelf to ensure that stock is accurately received back and issued out in a timely fashion at the request of

  • Superintendents so that inventory does not go missing and/or sit on the shelf for

more than 1 month.

  • Coordinate the Warehouse copper prefab schedule so that demands of the Production schedule are met with no delays.
  • Coordinate the Warehouse PVC prefab for Multifamily so that the demands of the Multifamily schedule are met with no delays.
  • Perform warehouse prefab duties as needed upon completion of primary warehouse responsibilities.

General

  • Ensure that warehouse area is safe, meets OSAH standards and that all team members operate their duties in a safe manner
  • Keep warehouse and all inventory storage areas clean, organized, and clear of debris
  • Maintain all warehouse equipment to ensure no downtime due to equipment breakdowns
  • Perform additional tasks as required by business or directed by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Leadership: 

          All warehouse staff consistently demonstrate the core values of R.T. Moore

  • Identify and incorporate training and developing warehouse staff as needed to continually improve the warehouse operation
  • Facilitate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management items required for staff such as time entry review, annual performance reviews and GPS report reviews
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with field operations, purchasing, service and suppliers
  • Demonstrate the following character traits: thoroughness, humility, determination, flexibility, and alertness

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Experience:

  • 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience necessary.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday

LOCATION: On-site

SALARY: $55,000 up to $62,000
