Manage HVAC Installer crew through Installation of all components of heating, ventilation, cooling, ductwork, line sets and required pressure testing for line set installations. As well as low voltage wiring, registers & grilles and equipment for Multi-family, commercial and residential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Perform duct work rough-in installation as noted per plans & spec.
  • Manage & Perform line set rough-in installation as noted per plans & spec. Track line set lengths per line set, tag by unit and forward to Site Superintendent.
  • Manage & Perform register & grilles installation as noted per plans & spec.
  • Manage & Perform thermostat, float switch, condensation drains and low voltage wiring installations per plans & spec for equipment installations.
  • Manage, Allocate & check all materials deliveries. Allocate & spread materials for installers.
  • Manage, track, modify & coordinate materials list for specific phases with site superintendent.
  • Perform all required paperwork for piece rate pay out for crew, daily logs, etcetera, to be turned into PM.
  • Understand and display compliance with R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best practices.
  • Ensure the tools/power tools provided will be well maintained.
  • Will be available for weekend and/or OT work assignments.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year ME/BCM degree and 2 years min. MEP-specific work experience OR 5-years minimum construction experience with 2 years MEP-specific and proven leadership ability required.
  • Competent in IMC, IBC, IPC and how that translates into field installation and application.
  • Capable and willing to wear jobsite specific personal protective equipment and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Competent in MS Office programs.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and construction document interpretation
  • A desire to grow and be challenged. Willing to dive in to a fast-paced and constantly evolving business.
  • Competent in jobsite record keeping and communication methods such as Daily Logs, “toolbox talks”, Change orders, “Daily Huddles,” and material receiving.
  • Willing and able to work on out of town/out of state projects as needed.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Licenses: Work toward obtaining EPA certification; NATE certification preferred but not required at this time. Test to obtain OOT mechanical licensing as required per municipality.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of work experience preferred; will accept less
