Description

The BIM Specialist role is responsible for providing a complete resource to RTMC and clients; while ensuring all models are accurate, consistent, and clash free. It is crucial for the BIM specialist to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems proactively.

DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Software

  • Effectively utilize BIM software and tools for design, detailing, visualization, coordination, and construction
  • Ensure Revit model accuracy as the model develops through design phases
  • Collaborate and coordinate with design professionals of all trades throughout the project delivery
Project Design
  • Develop and maintain RTMC company BIM content standards and virtual procedures in design
  • Create Revit systems for plumbing and mechanical designs for Multifamily projects
Communication
  • Lead all BIM coordination meetings
  • Conduct clash detection and conflict resolution

WORKING CONDITIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree from an Architectural or Engineering program
  • 5+ years of construction experience
