ServiceNow Practice Associate Product Developer


Role Description

An Associate Product Developer is a junior role in the product development group.  This is an entry level role with the expectations of becoming a Product Developer.  It is expected that this role will be meeting goals that are 30% professional development and 70% product development.  It is necessary that this role has some level of development experience, particularly with JavaScript.


  • Configure and develop products based off stories / requirements identified by the Product Manager
  • Within the first six months of hire, attain ServiceNow certified system administrator certification
  • Within the first year, attain ServiceNow certified developer certification
  • Follow all processes and procedures laid out by Product Manager, Practice Management and Organization
  • Other duties as assigned by management or leadership


  • A moderate level of skill with JavaScript, JSON, XML and HTML
  • An understanding of the following is a plus: AngularJS, AJAX, Apache Jelly, ServiceNow Glide, SOAP APIs, REST APIs, ITIL / ITSM, Agile Development
  • Solid communication skill
  • Ability to write understandable documentation, instructions and presentations to be consumed by other developers
  • The ability to independently learn technical skills with minimal intervention from others


  • High School Education is required
  • Associates or Bachelors in a technology major is highly desired
  • ServiceNow certifications is a plus
  • Development certifications are a plus
