Rӧdl & Partner’s continued growth provides opportunities for entrepreneurial and energetic tax professionals to enjoy fast career potential combined with challenging technical work.  We are currently seeking a Sales and Use Tax Manager to join our Rӧdl National Tax group in Atlanta, GA. 
This flexible role allows a Sales and Use Tax Manager to learn and grow as a team member focused on the following: 
  • Assisting Rӧdl & Partner’s local office tax professionals with navigating state and local tax rules across all states 
  • Consulting with clients on implementing sales tax compliance, including automated solutions 
  • Providing sales tax research deliverables to international clients not familiar with U.S. sales tax laws 
  • Collaborating with internal software professionals on the development of Rӧdl & Partner’s proprietary sales tax software solution 
  • Communicating and updating both clients and internal professionals on current state and local tax changes in both income tax and sales tax areas 
  • Supporting sales tax audit activities and consulting with clients on audit defense strategies 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • Masters degree in Accounting or Tax 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on state and local tax consulting, primarily sales and use tax 
  • Extensive experience applying business facts to sales tax law in multiple industries 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • CPA, JD or LLM 
  • Highly motivated individuals eager to grow in both technical tax knowledge and practical implementation of state and local tax strategies 
  • Detail-oriented professional with critical thinking skills 
  • Ability to communicate complex requirements in a practical and clear manner
  • Exceptional skill in managing multiple projects, clients, and deadlines
  • Desire and ability to develop younger staff
