What you will do:  
  • Assist in individual tax returns, equalization calculations, and miscellaneous tax forms for inbound expatriate employees and foreign investors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in U.S. payroll reporting, withholding for wages paid to expatriate employees for accuracy including annual compensation statements.
  • Assist in U.S. payroll reporting and withholding for expatriate employees.
  • Assist in preparing individual income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals with offshore investments and holdings.
  • Provide support to senior team members as they advise clients in various industries on domestic and international tax matters.
  • Participate in training opportunities to further develop your skills and knowledge within the field of expatriate tax services.
What you need to bring:  
  • Native or fluent proficiency in the German language
  • Exceptional English speaking and writing skills
  • 0-2 years of experience in Global Mobility Expatriate Tax with a national or regional accounting firm or boutique firm focused on expatriate tax matters.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is generally required; J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university is preferred.
  • Strong planning, research, writing and communication skills.
