Childcare Floater/Teacher Aide ($500 sign-on bonus)

$500 Sign-On Bonus!
A+ Childcare and Learning Center is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters/Teacher Aides to support the following age groups:
- All Ages
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Six months of experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday; 12:00pm - 6:00pm OR 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Compensation: $14-16 an hour, based on education and experience; ($500 sign-on bonus)
Please note that the sign-on bonus is available for full-time hires. $250 will be distributed after 30 days of employment and the additional $250 after 90 days of employment.

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
