Childcare Assistant PreK Teacher Part-Time
Description
Willows Child Learning Center in Quebec, CO, is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers for the following age groups:
- Pre-K- Part-Time
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential Level 1+ or Formal Education/ECE Experience preferred. Center is willing to train a candidate with a strong interest in working with children.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm-6:00 pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
