We’re looking for a Childcare Floater Teacher to work at our center in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina who is flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping classrooms run smoothly while creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.
This role is perfect for educators who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making a difference throughout the school day.
🧸 What Is a Floater Teacher?
As a Floater Teacher, you’ll:
- Support multiple classrooms as needed
- Step in to assist with ratios, breaks, transitions, and coverage
- Work with different age groups, from infants through Pre‑K
- Be a valued part of the teaching team across the school
No two days are the same — and that’s what many of our floaters love most about the role.
⏰ Schedule
Monday–Friday
- 1:00am - 6:00pm
💰 Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience
- $14-15 per hour

📚 What You’ll Do
- Assist Lead and Assistant Teachers in daily classroom activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and coverage
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies
✅ What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Flexibility and willingness to work with different age groups
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑first mindset
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
