This support includes the development of written, digital, and multimedia materials designed to convey complex information clearly and effectively across multiple channels.

Position Overview
RIVA Solutions is seeking a Graphic Designer to support OLPA’s digital and print communications. This role focuses on creating visually compelling materials that translate complex scientific and policy content into clear, engaging visuals for diverse audiences, including Congress, media, and the public.
Core Responsibilities
- Design graphics and layouts for print and digital media
- Develop and edit PowerPoint presentations and visual decks
- Create graphics for press releases, media kits, and publications
- Design infographics and data visualizations
- Develop visuals for conferences, exhibits, and events
- Create graphics and animations to support video and digital storytelling
- Produce original illustrations (digital, traditional, or 3D)
- Ensure all deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility standards
- Adhere to NSF branding and visual identity guidelines
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and subject-matter experts
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Professional experience producing graphic design for print and digital platforms
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal agencies
- Experience with scientific or technical content
- Motion graphics or animation experience
Salary Range
Up to $90,000 per year, based on experience
