About the Role
The Senior Consultant – Financial and IT Modeling & Analytics is a client-facing role responsible for delivering high-impact analytical solutions across financial and technology domains. This individual applies advanced quantitative, financial, and technical expertise to model cash flows, analyze complex datasets, and translate insights into clear, actionable deliverables for clients. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to guide analysts, and experience contributing to presentations and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain financial and analytical models, including cash flow and financial engineering models.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets, transforming raw data into client-ready insights and deliverables.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes, map processes, and highlight critical steps and non-value-added activities.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Participate in and support the presentation of analytical findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Manage or support project execution activities, including planning, coordination, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Guide and direct analysts as needed, providing technical direction and quality assurance on work products.
  • Resolve technical challenges related to data, modeling, and systems integration.
Technical Skills & Expertise
  • Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
  • Working knowledge of Java.
  • Strong background in finance and/or economics.
  • Experience with mortgage and fixed income data strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience modeling financial cash flows and applying financial engineering concepts.
Professional Skills
  • Proven ability to convert analytical work into polished, client-impacting deliverables.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including experience with industry planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to client audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage, coordinate, and guide project teams.
  • Demonstrated strength in issue resolution and risk management.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4–8 years of relevant professional experience in financial analytics, modeling, consulting, or a related role.
