Job Description: 
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at RiskSpan, your primary role will be to drive new sales opportunities and expand our client base. You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, creating meaningful connections, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams to increase leads and drive growth. 
    
Key Responsibilities:     
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: 
    Identify and research prospective clients within our target markets. Engage with decision-makers and initiate meaningful conversations that lead to opportunities. 
  • Outbound Outreach: 
    Develop and execute outreach strategies via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other channels to qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team. 
  • CRM Management: 
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads in Salesforce to ensure our sales pipeline is effectively managed. 
  • Collaboration: 
    Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns, follow up on inbound leads, and support event-driven outreach. 
  • Qualification of Leads: 
    Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and fit for RiskSpan’s solutions. Develop a deep understanding of RiskSpan's offerings to effectively communicate value to potential clients. 
  • Sales Support/Engineering: 
    Assist the sales team with various tasks including preparing for meetings, researching prospects, and providing insights that help drive the sales process forward. 
Qualifications & Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in financial services or fintech. 
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a passion for building relationships. 
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce and Pardot preferred). 
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead generation tools is a plus.
