As our Day Detail Senior Lead, you will play a critical role in leading our housekeeping crew to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for everyone who visits our campus. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating assignments, and ensuring that all areas are sanitized and event-ready. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

 

DAY-TO-DAY: 

  • Supervise Leads and Staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assign tasks and follow up to ensure completion in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for events. Areas such as as locker rooms, offices, conference rooms, concourses, arena. terraces, glass stairwells, elevators, etc.
  • Dispose of recyclables and solid waste, including handling bodily fluid spills
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces
  • Respond to radio calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilize basic computer skills to send daily status reports to all staff

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • Have previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, at least one year is preferred.
  • Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Can work early mornings and flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working on a team with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Are a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Physically are able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and perform various tasks requiring bending and reaching.
  • Can demonstrate safe work habits and proper body mechanics when lifting or moving heavy objects as well as train leads and staff regarding safety.
