As our Partnership Activation Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and day-to-day management of several commercial partnership accounts. You will act as the liaison between multiple partners and/or their agencies and our internal departments, serving as a strategic thought partner for our clients and their teams. You will contribute to the overall revenue goals of the business by leading partner renewals and upsells, while providing outstanding client service.

We’re looking for someone who excels in building and maintaining client relationships, has strong communication skills, and enjoys collaborating across various teams. DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Oversees and manages the execution of partner contractual deliverables, ensuring a full understanding of client’s business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Lead commercial partnership renewals and upsell initiatives for your client base, collaborating with the Partnership Sales and Strategy teams.
  • In partnership with Strategy team, proactively identify activation concepts that align with the brand, supporting partners’ marketing objectives to drive business results.
  • Tracks all assets and produces midseason and end-of-season recaps and reports.
  • Works collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders for partner approvals and alignment of programs and initiatives.
  • Cultivates a community of like-minded commercial partners, routinely showcasing best practices and using the lessons learned from our Partnership Strategy team's research.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as requested by Commercial Partnership Leadership Team

     

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, sports management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Have at least three years of experience in advertising, marketing, client relationship management, and/or client services
  • Display and execute excellent customer service skills in presentations, written and oral communication.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and manage client interactions.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of the sports industry or other brand collaboration partnerships.
  • Have demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic commercial partnership plans.
  • Are able to direct and align internal teams toward commercial partnership goals.
  • Hold core personal values that align with the organization’s values, especially surrounding DEI.
