What You’ll Be Doing and the Impact You’ll Make:

The Customer Analytics and Insights Data Science Lead will be responsible for designing, building and delivering analysis key to driving next generation of Customer Experience objectives. The key focus of this role would be to develop analysis at customer and transaction level utilizing data from clients’ customer datasets, data-lake environments - both within HDFS and cloud environments, leveraging Data Catalog and enterprise querying environments such as Alation and Dremio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to devise analysis models specific to defined objectives, inform clients with learnings from data-models and ultimately work towards a data-informed understanding of the customer to advise the next generation of world-class experience initiatives and solutions. 

You will work in a highly motivated environment with a dedicated set of data-analytics, design, technology, research, and strategy, working across industries such as utility, healthcare, finance, automotive, CPG, and commerce (to name a few). Along with working within a very cross-functional environment, this Lead Analyst will work closely with business, customer experience platform and channel data leads on the client side. 

  • Design, develop, and deliver analysis leveraging customer and transaction level data to inform decisioning and performance of key customer experience initiatives. 
  • Define and size customer segments based on product offerings, transactions and channel preferences.  
  • Work within the dedicated analytics and insights team to align deliverables to project objectives. 
  • Work within an agile backlog fashion to prioritize analysis deliverables, based on project objectives, in consultation with the project management and leadership. 
  • Be a trusted advisor to our client teams, understanding their challenges and providing insights in a way that aligns to their needs and drives data adoption in their organizations 
  • Ability to work closely with our Research, Strategy, Technology, and Design and teams to combine insights from analysis into transformative experience solutions 
  • Ability to generate hypotheses, run exploratory analysis, and identify trends to build relevant, optimization driven insights 
  • Basic understanding of web analytics platforms and subsequent data structures including Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics 
  • Experience in statistical methods and analysis such as regression, clustering, and time series analysis. 
  • Experience generating visualization with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, etc. 
  • Perform operational Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience: 5 to 10+ years of experience required. (previous experience working with clients’ customer data-sets, and within the data-lake environments is highly preferrable).
