Director-Technology
Description
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end delivery, P&L, and customer success across a portfolio of strategic accounts,
driving transformation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth
• Lead modern engineering execution across web platforms, and native/cross-platform mobile
apps; drive composable and API-first architectures where appropriate.
• Embed AI-assisted engineering into day-to-day delivery: define guardrails, workflows, and quality
gates for tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude/LLM copilots, and automated code
review/testing assistants.
• Operationalize agentic delivery patterns such as: multi-agent planning, coding, testing,
documentation, and operationalization to improve throughput and reduce defects while maintaining
security and compliance.
• Establish governance constructs such as: Steering Committees, weekly status, Risk Assumptions
Issues and Dependencies, release readiness, etc. and drive transparency on risks, dependencies,
and decisions across onshore/offshore teams.
• Drive customer-centric outcomes: define success metrics (time-to-value, adoption, performance,
reliability) and connect technical delivery to business value.
• Partner with sales & solutioning to scope solutions, contribute to proposals/SOWs, estimate
delivery plans, and identify AI-led accelerators to differentiate the offering.
• Build and mentor teams of engineering leads, architects, scrum masters, QA, DevOps and
strengthen capabilities and foster a growth-environment through coaching, hiring, and upskilling in
AI and cloud-native practices.
• Ensure engineering excellence: enforce standards for secure coding, accessibility, observability,
CI/CD, and production operations (SRE-minded delivery).
Technology & AI Focus Areas
• Cloud-native: Microservices, container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless patterns, eventdriven
architectures; AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Web & front-end: React/Next.js, Angular/Vue (as needed), TypeScript, design systems, component
libraries, accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization.
• Mobile: React Native and/or native iOS/Android; mobile CI/CD, app store release management,
security and performance.
• Back-end: Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js; API management (REST/GraphQL), integration patterns,
caching, messaging.
• DevOps & quality: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing (unit/integration/e2e),
SAST/DAST, observability (logs/metrics/traces).
• AI-enabled SDLC: AI pair-programming, AI test generation, automated documentation, agentic
workflows for planning/coding/testing, and pragmatic governance (human-in-the-loop, auditability).
Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise software programs with P&L responsibilities, including
7+ years leading large, multi-team engagements (onshore/offshore) and influencing outcomes in a
matrixed environment.
• Proven track record delivering cloud-native and/or mobile-first products at scale, including complex
integrations and multi-release roadmaps.
• Strong program/portfolio governance experience: executive reporting, risk/issue management,
dependency orchestration, and financial stewardship (budgeting, forecasting, margin awareness).
• Hands-on technical depth sufficient to guide architecture decisions, engineering standards, and
delivery trade-offs; able to engage credibly with architects and senior engineers.
• Experience adopting modern delivery methods (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD) and building highperforming,
accountable teams.
• Executive stakeholder leadership: ability to build trust with senior client leaders
(Directors/VPs/CXOs), translate business goals into roadmaps, and drive alignment and decisionmaking
through ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience); relevant
certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
• Experience institutionalizing AI-assisted engineering (e.g., GitHub Copilot) with measurable
productivity/quality outcomes and responsible use guardrails.
• Exposure to agentic AI concepts and workflow orchestration; ability to evaluate tooling and design
repeatable delivery playbooks.
• Background in platform ecosystems relevant to Experience (e.g., Microsoft 365/Copilot, Adobe,
Sitecore, Optimizely, ServiceNow) and associated integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and data protection practices in enterprise delivery;
familiarity with threat modelling and secure SDLC.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail) and working with
strict compliance requirements.
What Success Looks Like
• Programs delivered with predictable outcomes: improved release cadence, reduced defect leakage,
and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
• AI-assisted engineering adoption with clear governance and measurable benefits (cycle-time
reduction, increased test coverage, improved developer experience).
• Stronger reusable accelerators and patterns across Core Native delivery (templates, reference
architectures, CI/CD blueprints).
• Healthy teams: clear role clarity, coaching culture, improved retention, and a strong leadership
pipeline.
• Demonstrated business impact for clients (time-to-value, adoption, performance, and cost-to-serve
improvements).
