Senior AEM Developer
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join a global, cross-functional digital team working on enterprise-scale B2C healthcare platforms. The role involves leading frontend development for key features, particularly around personalized consent and data privacy, within a complex, multi-country environment.
You will act as the primary frontend contributor, owning end-to-end delivery—from requirement analysis to implementation—while collaborating closely with backend teams, architects, and product stakeholders. This role requires strong technical expertise, high ownership, and the ability to operate independently in a structured enterprise ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end frontend development for assigned features including analysis, design, development, and deployment
- Lead implementation of personalized consent features aligned with data privacy and marketing compliance requirements
- Collaborate with backend/API teams and architects for seamless system integration
- Develop and manage frontend components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Ensure successful multi-country deployments with adaptability to regional requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimations, and daily stand-ups
- Support additional modules such as e-learning features and enhancements
- Contribute to frontend pipeline optimization and CI/CD improvements
- Navigate enterprise release processes including multi-environment testing (Dev, QA, Staging, Production) and CAB approvals
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of frontend applications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Vanilla JS) and jQuery
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM):
- Component integration
- Page configuration and content management
- Understanding of AEM architecture and workflows
- Solid understanding of web development concepts:
- Form handling and payload customization
- API integration via backend layers
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment processes
- Basic knowledge of Node.js for build and pipeline improvements
- Experience working across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on global, multi-country digital platforms
- Understanding of data privacy, consent management, and marketing compliance frameworks
- Prior exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments
- Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques
