We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate – Microsoft Alliances to support the growth and management of our strategic relationship with Microsoft. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who is interested in partner management, business development, technology alliances, and the Microsoft ecosystem.
The role will work closely with Alliance, Sales, Practice, Marketing, and Microsoft teams to support joint initiatives, pipeline development, partner programs, reporting, and go-to-market activities.
Role Overview
As an Associate – Microsoft Alliances, you will support the Microsoft Alliance team in managing day-to-day alliance activities and driving execution of joint business initiatives.
You will help track opportunities, coordinate with internal and Microsoft stakeholders, support partner programs and incentives, maintain alliance data and reporting, and contribute to Microsoft-focused go-to-market initiatives.
This role provides an opportunity to build strong expertise in Microsoft partnerships, cloud and technology ecosystems, business development, and alliance management while working with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Alliance & Partner Management
· Support the Alliance team in managing day-to-day activities related to the Microsoft partnership.
· Coordinate with Microsoft stakeholders and internal teams to track ongoing initiatives and action items.
· Maintain alliance trackers, dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
· Support preparation of regular business reviews and leadership presentations.
· Research Microsoft programs, partner initiatives, and new opportunities relevant to the business.
Pipeline & Co-Sell Support
· Work with sales and account teams to track Microsoft-related opportunities and pipeline.
· Support opportunity registration, tracking, and follow-up for Microsoft co-sell opportunities.
· Maintain accurate pipeline information and provide regular status updates.
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely action on Microsoft-led or partner-led opportunities.
· Support joint account planning and opportunity review activities.
Microsoft Programs & Partner Operations
· Support participation in Microsoft partner programs, incentives, funding initiatives, and marketplace activities.
· Assist with tracking Microsoft requirements, competencies, certifications, and specializations.
· Coordinate with internal teams to collect information required for Microsoft program submissions.
· Maintain documentation and ensure alliance-related information is current and accurate.
Reporting & Analytics
· Prepare regular reports on alliance pipeline, revenue, opportunities, certifications, and partner activities.
· Analyze basic pipeline and performance data to identify trends, gaps, and follow-up actions.
· Support creation of presentations and dashboards for internal and Microsoft stakeholders.
· Ensure timely and accurate updates to alliance management systems and trackers.
Marketing & Go-to-Market Support
· Support Microsoft-focused webinars, events, campaigns, workshops, and other go-to-market initiatives.
· Coordinate with marketing and practice teams on joint campaigns and enablement activities.
· Assist in preparing presentations, communications, and other collateral for Microsoft stakeholders.
· Research market and Microsoft ecosystem trends to identify potential growth opportunities.
Internal Coordination & Enablement
· Coordinate with Sales, Technology, Delivery, Marketing, and Practice teams to support alliance initiatives.
· Help organize Microsoft enablement sessions, training, and certification initiatives.
· Track action items and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
· Develop a strong understanding of Genpact Experience's Microsoft capabilities and offerings.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
· 1–3 years of professional experience in any of the following areas:
o Partner/Alliance Management
o Business Development
o Sales Operations
o Business Operations
o Technology Consulting
o Account Management
o Program/Project Coordination
· Strong interest in technology partnerships and the Microsoft ecosystem.
· Good understanding of Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Data & AI, Business Applications, or Security is preferred.
· Strong Excel/PowerPoint and data reporting skills.
· Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
· Proactive approach with strong ownership and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
· Exposure to Microsoft Partner Center or Microsoft partner programs.
· Understanding of Microsoft's co-sell, marketplace, incentive, or funding programs.
· Experience working with a technology services, consulting, digital transformation, or systems integration organization.
· Microsoft certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or AI Fundamentals are a plus.
· Experience working with CRM, partner management, or pipeline tracking tools is an advantage.
