Responsibilities
Solution Development & Sales Enablement
- Design holistic architecture for websites, portals, and digital products that may span content management, e-commerce, personalization, and analytics platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend the suitable DXP technology stack (Adobe Experience Cloud, Sitecore XM/XP, Optimizely, etc.) based on client requirements for customer experience, ensuring integration points are well-defined (e.g., CRM, ERP, third-party services).
- Develop architectural blueprints, solution diagrams, and technical roadmaps, aligning platform capabilities with client KPIs (e.g., mapping AEM Sites/Assets, Optimizely personalization, Sitecore Content Hub to specific business outcomes).
- Provide technical leadership during pre-sales and delivery: support proposal writing with technical approach, estimate effort for implementation, identify assumptions/risks, and guide engineering teams during project execution to ensure the solution meets the design.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability considerations are built into all solution designs (e.g., CDN configuration, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, compliance requirements for customer data).
- Stay current with multi-DXP trends and updates (Adobe’s latest features, Sitecore SaaS offerings, Optimizely experimentation, etc.) to continuously refine Rightpoint’s DXP best practices and accelerators.
AI-Specific Capabilities & Expectations:
- Proactively incorporate AI and intelligent services into architectures: e.g., recommending personalization AI (Adobe Target or Optimizely AI for automated content recommendations), AI-powered search (such as Coveo or Azure Cognitive Search) and chatbot/agent integration for customer self-service.
- Fluency in emerging “agentic” AI concepts in DXP context – knows how to leverage tools like Adobe Sensei/Firefly or Sitecore AI for content tagging, image generation, or A/B testing optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with the Agentic Transformation Lead to embed AI capabilities (e.g., generative content creation, predictive analytics) into the overall solution, ensuring these AI components align with the architecture and data flows.
- Use AI tools in day-to-day work for efficiency (for instance, using GitHub Copilot or other AI coding assistants for rapid prototyping, or using architectural diagram generators to speed up documentation).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing and Communications Solution Leads to understand client vision (e.g., CMO’s goals for personalization, Head of Comms’ needs for brand consistency) and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring the architecture directly supports buyer value stories.
- Partner with Digital Workplace Architects when solutions require interplay between external and internal platforms (e.g., integrating a public website with an intranet or employee portal).
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers during delivery, acting as the technical mentor to engineering teams (including offshore developers) to ensure the build follows the intended architecture.
- Coordinate with vendor partners’ solution architects (Adobe, Sitecore, Optimizely) for design reviews or to incorporate vendor best practices, maintaining Genpact’s credibility with partners while keeping the solution buyer-focused.
- Engage with security and DevOps teams to align on standards (security reviews, performance testing, release management) so the solution architecture is robust from all angles.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years in technical architecture roles for digital platforms, including substantial hands-on experience with enterprise CMS and DXP solutions (Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Optimizely) in complex, multi-site implementations.
- Proven track record designing integrated solutions across multiple technologies, such as connecting content management with e-commerce engines, personalization services, and analytics tools.
- Deep knowledge of web application architecture (SPA vs. multi-page, microservices, headless CMS, CDN, authentication/authorization mechanisms). Strong grasp of integration patterns (REST/GraphQL APIs, middleware, ESB) for connecting systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and modern deployment models (containers, serverless, PaaS offerings for DXP) to advise on hosting and environment strategy.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to write clear documentation and present architecture proposals to client executives.
Preferred Certifications & Expertise:
- Adobe: Adobe Certified Master or Expert (AEM Architect or Developer); Adobe certification in Target or Analytics is a plus.
- Sitecore: Sitecore Certified Architect or Sitecore MVP recognition.
- Optimizely: Optimizely Content Cloud or Commerce Cloud certification; knowledge of Optimizely’s experimentation platform.
- Other relevant credentials: TOGAF (for enterprise architecture), Microsoft Azure Architect or AWS Solutions Architect (for cloud infrastructure, since DXP deployments often leverage cloud PaaS/SaaS).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and headless CMS approaches is beneficial given modern DXP headless capabilities.
Success Metrics / KPIs
- Solution win rate in deals supported (e.g., percentage of proposals with this architect’s designs that convert to project wins), indicating ability to craft compelling, value-aligned architectures.
- Quality of architecture in delivery: measured by post-implementation results such as performance benchmarks, scalability (can the platform handle expected load), and low incidence of architecture-related issues or rework during build.
- Client satisfaction and business outcomes attributable to architecture: e.g., a client’s improved site performance or quicker content deployment times due to the designed solution (mapping back to KPIs the architect aimed to achieve).
- Reusability of designs / accelerators: number of times architecture templates or components (developed under the architect’s guidance) are reused across projects, indicating creation of scalable best practices.
- Continuous learning: staying certified/up-to-date – for example, maintaining relevant certs and attending partner training; success can be partially measured by completing new certifications or contributing to thought leadership (blogs, tech talks) on multi-platform solutions.
