Content Management Specialist -L01/L02
Description
As a Content Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining content within an enterprise-level CMS environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure accurate, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences across SharePoint sites and portals.
What You Will Do:
- Create, update, and manage pages, document libraries, lists, and site content within enterprise CMS environments.
- Build and maintain digital experiences using out-of-the-box components, custom components, and templates
- Gain a strong understanding of CMS architecture, navigation, permissions, workflows, and content governance.
- Ensure content consistency, usability, accessibility, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Provide effort estimates for content migration, updates, and maintenance activities for planning and scheduling purposes.
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate content accuracy, formatting, links, and functionality.
- Work with developers and administrators to troubleshoot and resolve content issues, defects, and bugs.
- Support ongoing production maintenance activities including content publishing, archival, and updates.
- Review and validate work completed by team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and production readiness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support intranet, collaboration, and document management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar platforms, including content.
Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including content authoring, publishing workflows, and digital experience management, is highly preferred.
- Experience working with Spark Accelerator is good to have.
- Understanding of content management best practices, permissions, workflows, templates, and governance.
- Experience with content migration and governance practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and content publishing processes is preferred.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
