JOB SUMMARY

Accepts and completes assignments to create, design, layout, shoot, edit, print, or otherwise produce content in video, digital, or print graphic formats. Creates an array of visual works including, but not limited to, posters, video, graphics, audio, fact sheets, infographics, presentations, templates, and photography, including original artwork. Conforms to UTA brand guidelines and quality standards. Works closely with the Graphic Arts Specialist, Visual Production Specialist, and Communications Strategists to deliver products according to outlined specs and deadlines. Suggests ideas for accomplishing goals of a project assignment according to trends and best practices in visual production and design. Creates and gathers video and photography for visual use. Edits video, graphic, audio, and photographic assets. Organizes media for use by the team and agencywide. Collaborates with others and takes and implements feedback. Works well with deadlines and changes. 
 
This job is not eligible for telework. Requires regular and predictable attendance during set full-time daytime hours Monday through Friday in the Salt Lake City UTA Frontlines Headquarters or field assignments. 
Normal Business hours are Monday – Friday 8-6.   Actual working hours for this full-time position are flexible within this time frame. May require infrequent holiday, weekend, or tasks and event support, with advance notice. 
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 
EDUCATION/TRAINING:   
Associate degree in Art, Graphic Art and Design, Photography, Multimedia or Video Production or Editing, or similar.
 
EXPERIENCE:   
One year of professional experience in graphic arts and design; video, photography, and/or audio editing and production; and digital and print production.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles of effective visual communication with a portfolio of prior work.
  • Experience in graphics and multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Acrobat, and Photoshop.
  • Prior use of camera, audio, and computer equipment to produce visual and audio products.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess or demonstrate ability to acquire skills in using Trello project management software, Microsoft Office Suite and 365 online file sharing and organizing, Dropbox, and SharePoint, as well as internal processes and brand standard.
  • Experience in applying knowledge of accessible standards in visual communications a plus.
  • Photography and photo editing experience a plus.

Pay Range: 21.87 or more depending on experience.
