Hop on board with the Utah Transit Authority!  This Fares Strategy Analyst role offers a great opportunity to dive into the financial side of the Utah Transit Authority. You will be using data to forecast, strategize, and improve UTA’s revenue while ensuring everything aligns with company policies. This is a collaborative role where you will help streamline processes and make decisions that impact the future of transportation all over the Wasatch Front. As the Fares Strategy Analyst, you will provide expertise to develop and improve the Fare Department's current analysis, modeling, and reporting processes to foster revenue growth, enhance management insights, and ensure compliance with the Fare Policy.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:   
  • Four to six years of professional experience developing, implementing, and managing projects, including oversight of budgets, project performance, and revenue development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Statistical Analysis, or a related field.
 
Knowledge/Skills: 
  • Advanced knowledge in data analysis, financial modeling and forecasting, and product pricing preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar software preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning, market research, and business process improvement.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and presenting complex information in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to meet ADA, Title VI, and local law requirements.
  • Business analyst skills, including analytical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a high level of accuracy; strong oral and written communication skills; process modeling and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Program development skills, including communicating with multiple stakeholders, promoting and selling programs to potential partners, facilitating shared direction and consensus decision-making, creating collaborative groups, and documenting and formalizing agreements.
  • Program and project management skills, including creating procedures, establishing goals and targets, directing the work of others, budgeting, performance measurement, program evaluation, and improvement.

Pay Range:  $70,500.00 per year or more, depending on experience
