As the Manager of Payment Systems and Fare Collection, you will:
- Oversee many important functions required to administer and operate the fare system.
- Keep the fare system running at optimal levels to ensure customers have positive experience paying their fare when riding UTA.
- Manage department operations and lead staff.
- Manage the electronic fare collection system.
- Manage the purchase and distribution of fare media.
- Ensure compliance with policy and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide fare support to customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Minimum four to six years’ professional experience developing, implementing, and managing projects, including oversight of budgets, project performance, and revenue development.
- Five years in public transit systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration /Management, Accounting, Finance, Statistical Analysis, or related field preferred
KNOWLEDGE
- Thorough knowledge of fares, fare policy, product pricing, data analysis, and electronic payment systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar software preferred.
- Experience facilitating meetings and presenting complex information in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to meet ADA, Title VI, and local law requirements.

Pay Range: $90,900.00 or more, depending on experience
