What You Bring to the Table  

You are someone that is currently working towards their Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting or a similar field, and someone who possess strong communication skills. You will play a key role in the success of the group by applying accounting knowledge to include the preparation of adjusting and federal tax journal entries, basic review and analysis of working trial balance and financial statements.   

   

What You Would Do  

On a daily basis, our Tax Interns will be responsible for the preparing of federal, state and local individual, trust, partnership, S & C Corporation income tax returns.. You will play a key role in the success of the group by organizing and filing workpapers and supplementary information in client engagement binders in the firms paperless tax engagement management software.  

    

Qualifications  

·       Working toward, or attained Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience  

·       Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Accounting Software  

·       Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents  

   

Pay  

This is a paid internship, paying $27 an hour. This position does not offer benefits.
