General Purpose
Under the direct supervision of a Cybersecurity Manager, this position is directly responsible for delivering information technology and cybersecurity solutions to clients by aiding in the evaluation of security components, security solutions, and solution architectures, with a focus on the cloud. Additionally, this role will assist in creating a unified approach to security to support the rapidly changing and innovative needs of Richey May customers.

- Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
- Aids in evaluating existing technical solutions and risk areas of Richey May and Company (RMC) customers.
- Provides deep technical expertise regarding security risks and risk mitigation practices.
- Aids in evaluating existing technical solutions and risk areas of RMC customers.
- Responsible for maintaining and delivering deep technical guidance related to enhancing clients’ security posture and the deployment and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions.
- Aids in supporting and maintaining RMC partnerships with leading cloud solution providers.
- Proactively addresses changes in the threat landscape that can impact RMC customers.
- Oversees and aids in developing the design and implementation of security architecture controls.
- Aids in the execution of routine cybersecurity, assessments, reviews and monitoring.
- Assists in the drafting of assessment reports and other reports of findings.
- Acts as the liaison between technical and non-technical people within and outside the firm.
- Practices regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to follow all Richey May & Co policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and guidelines, actively participate and attend employee meetings, and complete required training programs on time.

- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting specific and structured timelines.
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware.
- Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux and Apple operating systems, servers and applications.
- Expert understanding of Networking and Security tools and concepts.
- Strong Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 or National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53, NIST CSF, Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, and other Cybersecurity Control Frameworks.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
Education or Formal Training:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer security or a related degree is preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a cybersecurity discipline.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted year-to-year.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- CISSP, OSCP, Microsoft & Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certifications are a plus.
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check.
Pay
$65,000-$85,000 per year
