Robert Half has an immediate need for a Network Security Officer/Engineer, within a stable firm. This is a full-time/employee position. The position will be responsible for overall network and applications security. This will include policies and procedures and well as ongoing technical projects. If you feel that you are a solid match for this position, please forward your resume directly to [email protected] <br> <b>Primary responsibilities include: </b> <ul><li> The Network Security Engineer provides enterprise level network architecture design for local and wide area networks with an emphasis on network security, network traffic engineering, network operations, product investigation, product evaluation, logical connectivity investigation and analysis, and network support. <li> Provide application level security across the enterprise, guide security measures for HIE implementation and cross enterprise security communications. </ul>
Qualifications:
<b>Requirements: </b> <ul><li> Networking Background <li>Experience setting security policies <li>CISCO (7+ years) <li>CCNA or CCNP <li>CISSP <li>Firewalls, Intrusion detection, encryption <li>Secure network design concepts <li>IP technologies <li>In-depth knowledge of secure network design concepts, network protocols, encryption tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems <li>Experience conducting network security vulnerability assessments, identifying and prioritizing information security risks and recommending mitigating controls <li>Working knowledge of network security vulnerability tools <li>Must have strong knowledge of LAN technologies to include Cisco switches and routers, virtual networks, and routed networks <li>Complete knowledge and understanding of routing, bridging , and switching architectures and implications. <li>Must have advanced level knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of IP and core IP technologies <li>Must have the ability to work well with a team and be able to handle multiple projects at the same time. <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills <li>Excellent technical writing and documentation skills </ul>
