Description

Our client is seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft Developer to be responsible for one or all stages of system development, implementation, testing & problem resolution. The candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, debugging, and modification of local, network, or internet-related computer programs for end user applications such as financial management, HRMS or desktop applications products. The Sr. PeopleSoft Developer will write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Key responsibilities include: complete documentations and procedures for installation and maintenance; interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications; and participate on the projects as a programmer or project lead depending on the scope of the duration of the project.
Qualifications:
BS degree and 7+ years of related experience developing computer applications 7+ years with PeopleTools 8.48 or higher and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture with three or more of the following: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and/or Asset Management 7+ years s of PeopleSoft development experience using Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR 7+ years experience with UNIX, UNIX shell scripting, and database tuning in Oracle 9I or higher Knowledge in at least two (2) of the following: PeopleSoft Integration Technologies like PS Integration Broker, XML Publisher Component Interface, Web Services with 3rd party systems Must be capable of delivering high quality results Should be competent to work independently and solve complex problems and issues PeopleSoft Inc. Certification is a plus Development of technical specifications and documentation Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
