Software Engineer
Description
Our East Bay client is seeking a Developer to design software systems in Java-based environments and build unit tests and integration tests based on functional and non-functional requirements that will interact with large databases. This individual will be able to develop and present system and design documentation that works across functions to support the change management, deployment, configuration and release of software components
Qualifications:
Requirements
4+ years of Java server side application development
Hands-on experience of J2EE and Spring technologies
Knowledge of relational schemas and database modeling and PL/SQL
Experience developing in both SOAP and REST web services
Knowledge of Maven and Linux/UNIX environment including common system utilities and scripting
Good working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Jetty and other web application platforms
Knowledge of Python, Perl or other scripting language
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, or other front-end technologies
Experience building development tools
