Our client is seeking to find the ideal candidate that has experience in Pricing and Salesforce Manager. This individual will work closely and responsively with Sales and Finance to effectively price proposals balancing the need to provide a competitive price with the need to maximize revenue and gross margin. This individual will also be responsible for developing and recommending pricing strategy to achieve sales, revenue and profitability goals utilizing both traditional perpetual license software pricing and SaaS pricing. This position reports to the Marketing Director and requires a unique person who is a flexible problem-solver with a combination of solid sales/commercial experience, analytical insight, economic modeling and basic familiarity with Salesforce.com. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely and responsively with Sales and Finance to effectively configure and price proposals balancing the need to provide a competitive price with the need to maximize revenue and gross margin Review and approve all Sales quotes within set levels of authority utilizing Salesforce.com and related configuration, pricing and quoting tools Undertake very basic system administrator tasks for Saleforce.com MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales, sales management or sales operations 1+ year of Salesforce.com user experience Must be eligible to work in the United States PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with the public safety industry and public safety technology solutions 2+ years of experience in a position where the primary responsibility was software & service pricing and margin analysis 1+ years of experience as system administrator for Salesforce.com Experience with FPX CPQ tools CPQ On-Demand (aka Firepond)
