<i><b>Robert Half <font color="#17C2A0">Technology</font></b></i> has partnered with a highly successful client in need of a Senior Systems Engineer on a consulting basis. As a Senior Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the organization?s operating systems and enterprise applications. Common responsibilities include the detection, analysis, and resolution of problems associated with server hardware, NetApp/EMC SAN, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, VMWare, Exchange 07/10, SQL Server 08, Citrix, and applications software. As an engineer, a wide variety of tasks will be performed with software/hardware maintenance and operational support of Windows Server systems. <br><br> <ul> <li>5-7 years experience in a Windows Server internetworking field and 2+ years supporting a high volume production environment. <li>Microsoft and Citrix certifications preferred. <li>Must have experience in MS Windows 2003 & 2008 Server, TCP/IP (must be familiar with the OSI model), VMWare ESX 3.5, backup solutions, MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange 2010, and VB or other relevant scripting languages for administrative use. <li>Experience in Citrix Presentation Server and Storage area networking is strongly preferred. <li>Thorough knowledge of data processing. <li>Strong project management skills. <li>Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. <li>Exceptional problem solving/troubleshooting skills. <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills. </ul> INTERESTED CANDIDATES SHOULD EMAIL RESUMES TO [email protected]
