Robert Half Technology is searching for an experienced Software/Application Architect for a direct hire/perm opportunity in Raleigh. </p>

The Software/Application Architect will be responsible for the architecture, design and development of core company applications. Will manage a group of software engineers and be working with project managers and business analyst to insure client objectives and expectations are met.
Qualifications:

</p>
<li> 10+ years of Java software/application design and development
<li> Experience with Java, JSP, Web Services, JDBC, XML, RMI and SOAP
<li> Understanding of Model-View-Controller, UML and design patterns
<li> Strong database/SQL experience
<li> Vast understanding of popular development/architecture methodologies
<li> Pluses include experience with GWT, AJAX and/or Groovy/Grails
<li> Degree in Computer Science (or related) is required with an advanced degree preferred
