Position Summary
The Associate Director of Corporate Finance will be a hands-on leader providing strategic guidance and tactical execution support to management. This is a high-visibility role that will be involved in supporting the leadership team in a variety of capacities, including stakeholder management (board, investors, advisors), corporate development, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives. If this is you, apply with us today!

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Guidance & Thought Leadership
    • Partner with senior leadership to formulate and execute on Revolution Foods’ growth strategy, including evaluation and execution of strategic alternatives
    • Identify, in collaboration with senior executives, strategies and portfolio opportunities that will profitability grow Revolution Foods in alignment with the strategic plan
    • Identify, analyze, and execute on key value drivers to profitably grow the business, including assessing fit, feasibility, and financial impact of investments, and make appropriate recommendations
    • Conduct research on the industry, market trends, and competitors to remain abreast of and communicate developments that could affect our strategy; recommend strategy shifts and identify emerging opportunities
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Adeptly prepare PowerPoint presentations for board, investors, advisors with strong emphasis on storytelling, positioning, and key messaging
    • Translate complex analytical data into presentations that can be understood and acted upon by stakeholders
    • Develop & maintain relationships with key external stakeholders and advisors
    • Refine and continuously improve investor relations strategy and execution of that strategy in order to maximize the company’s long-term value creation. This includes preparing for and orchestrating major investor calls and board updates, as well as preparing ad hoc analyses
    • Financial Impact & Valuation Analysis
      • Oversee and conduct financial analyses, including the development of detailed financial and operational models, cashflow scenarios, and valuation analyses
      • Formulate and present financial impact and negotiation rationales for proposed investments or transactions to leadership and other internal stakeholders
      • Manage interaction and coordinate with business units and corporate groups including legal, tax, accounting, HR, treasury, financial planning & analysis, and investor relations, as appropriate
    • Execution & Implementation
      • Coordinate internal (e.g. Executive, Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal) and external (e.g. advisors, counsel, bankers) teams in execution of investments or transactions  
      • Manage and coordinate due diligence of potential new business opportunities
      • Play a key leadership role in fundraising activities and manage relationships with major investors, board and external key stakeholders
      • Lead the development of short, mid and long-term capital raising strategy of Revolution Foods that is aligned with overall corporate strategy and goals
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience and Education
      • At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, strategy consulting, and/or corporate finance, with demonstrated advancement in roles of increasing responsibility and accountability
      • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or a business-related field (or equivalent experience) is required. MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
      • Significant experience in corporate development (e.g. M&A, equity, debt, strategy, investor relations), including recent experience leading deal execution and intimate knowledge of transaction processes
      • Experience leading cross-functional teams comprised of senior leaders and external advisors/stakeholders to execute on a strategic vision, as well as coordinate deliverables, is required. Significant experience in program and/or cross-functional project management is a plus
      • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter; comfort working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, high impact environment with minimal direct supervision
      • Experience proactively navigating ambiguity and working collaboratively across multiple business functions and matrixed teams
      • Results-driven and action-oriented in approach; always willing to roll up her sleeves with an attention to excellence at all levels
    • Strategic Thinking & Analytical Ability
      • Expertise in building financial and operating models and a thorough understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g. DCF, Precedent Transactions, Public Trading Comparables, SOTP, etc.)
      • Strong orientation to detail and accuracy
      • Skill in creating analytical frameworks and other decision-making tools to approach and solve strategic business problems
      • Strong aptitude for data analysis (e.g. experience with data sets, pivot tables, SQL) with ability to review data to determine key trends and make strong recommendations
      • Excellent critical thinking and intellectual curiosity
      • A self-motivated individual with instinctive problem-solving capabilities, curiosity, and a positive mindset
      • Familiarity with Anaplan and Power BI a plus
    •  Communication, Presence & Interpersonal Skills
      • Hands-on experience preparing executive management and board-level PowerPoint presentations with emphasis on storytelling and key messages
      • Ability to simplify, translate, and present complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience communicating effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Seeks clarity and listens for understanding
      • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive ability to maintain relationships and influence/persuade others to deliver results
      • Highly tuned emotional and cultural intelligence
      • Demonstrated success in managing external relationships with the financial community
