Warehouse Associate / Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm / $21.00 - $25.00
PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Warehouse Associate is a unique role at Revision. This individual will support picking and staging orders for our Assembly team while serving as a back up to our Shipping Coordinator. Accurately transacting items in our warehouse management software will be key and providing additional support the warehouse team will be required.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work through a daily job priority list that supports Revision’s production plan and schedule.
- Process all customer requests in our warehouse management software.
- Ensure material is properly marked with relevant information, including part number, quantity and date received.
- Support Shipping functions throughout the day/week, as needed, and be cross trained to learn basic shipping functions.
- Develop, improve, and follow standard work and work instructions.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
- Wearing the proper safety equipment.
- Place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined storage procedures.
- Prepare parcels for shipment; verify counts, move, wrap, band pallets.
- Perform cycle counts and assist in counting of inventory.
- Assist in completing root cause, corrective and preventive actions.
- Forklift Operation
- Other duties/tasks that may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements
- Current or previous Forklift operator license required. Revision will train and maintain certification.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Shipping experience preferred; UPS, FedEx, LTL, FTL
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. I.e. Berry Amendment, ITAR
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Must be good with numbers and capable of writing legibly.
- Ability to work with minimum of supervision, including prioritizing of work.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Syteline MRP experience a plus.
- U.S. Government authorization required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work required
- Work environment (include physical requirements)
