Assembly Team Member - 1st Shift / Mon - Fri 7:00pm - 3:30pm / $19.00 - $22.00 hour
PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Assembly Team Member assembles, labels, and packs protective eyewear kits for the fulfillment of Customer Service orders..
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble specific protective eyewear products in accordance to the appropriate BOM.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Notify supervisor of any material issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ability to prepare and assemble units.
- Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed.
- Place parts in a specified relationship to each other.
- Clips, snaps or otherwise attaches parts together.
- Works on a line where tasks vary as different models of product moves along line.
- Conduct in-process inspection of lenses and other eyewear components for quality defects.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
- Ability to build 5 different kits to the targeted cycle time
- Pass defect identification test
Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements
- Must be able to read and understand the production schedule.
- Must be able to read a Bill of Material (BOM)
- Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce eyewear products.
- U.S. Government Authorization required.

- Specific visions abilities are required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
