THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Software Engineer II, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of RMS software applications that support data-driven insights for our clients. Working with modern .NET and Azure-based technologies, you’ll help build new features, improve existing systems, and support reliable, scalable platforms used across the business.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on development, values clean and maintainable code and can balance multiple projects while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the following countries: Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, and Italy.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll work as part of RMS’s DevOps team, collaborating with Software Engineers, Product partners, and technical stakeholders. In this role, you’ll contribute to shared technical goals, participate in team discussions, and support the delivery of high-quality solutions that enable RMS teams and clients to make better use of data.

WHAT YOULL DO 

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software solutions
  • Write and optimize in-application SQL code to support application functionality
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of SQL databases
  • Integrate data storage solutions including Microsoft SQL, Azure SQL, Key Vaults, and Blobs
  • Support application performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and system bottlenecks
  • Contribute to maintaining strong code quality, organization, and automation standards

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in C# and T-SQL, with strong knowledge of their ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to write and optimize large, complex SQL statements
  • Knowledge of best practices when working with relational databases
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience developing reusable libraries and components
  • Familiarity with common design and architectural patterns
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools such as TFS and Git
  • Experience with Azure DevOps

REQUIRED

  •  3+ years of professional developer experience

PREFERRED

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
