THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Key Account Manager, you will work closely with our franchise clients providing them with data-driven insights and actionable pricing and business recommendations that boost their top-line performance and profitability. You will explore the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions at restaurant, category, and item levels. Subsequently, you will share these insights with the Franchisees and their management teams with the aim of optimizing their pricing strategies.
 
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll work on our European Consulting Services team, based in Milan, and report to the Director of Consulting Services. Working closely with the Director and the Senior Account Manager, you will manage multiple franchise accounts and establish strong relationships with key corporate client contacts. You will discuss pricing strategies with senior client personnel and ensure the effective implementation of the pricing strategies across the client owned and franchised locations. WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Manage franchise accounts and establish strong relationships with key corporate client contacts
  • Work with the respective teams to create reports, presentations, and analyses
  • Present insights and recommendations to key corporate client contacts and franchisees
  • Regularly hold discussions with franchisees in Italy to ensure they grasp and adhere to proposed pricing and revenue management strategies 
  
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficiency in English and Italian (mandatory), knowledge of German would be considered an advantage 
  • 5 years experience in the hospitality or retail industry  
  • Experience in either of the following fields: account management, business development, franchisee relationships, operations or training, and revenue management. 
  • Robust analytical skills 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills 
  • Proven commercial and business acumen which is demonstrated in strong presentation, storytelling as well as analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills to successfully manage multiple deadlines 
 
PREFERRED 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Economics or Hotel Management  
  • 5 Years’ Experience preferably with key account management business analytics, consulting, revenue management, consumer research or revenue management.
