The role

With over 8 million members, VoucherCodes is one of the UK’s largest money saving websites. Partnered with big brands like ASOS, Nike, Argos, Expedia and Pizza Express, we receive over 8 million visits per month. Right now, we’re looking for an account manager to work as part of our partnerships team in London. 

Your role will sit within the UK partnerships team and will report into the senior account director, where you will manage a portfolio of some of the businesses key accounts.  You will build strong relationships with your clients and help grow your portfolio through strategic thinking and innovative new ideas. 

The role requires an experienced and energetic Account Executive/ Account manager with a proven track record in sales and account management. The role will be based in our head-office in London, with some travel required to visit clients and attend industry events.

What we need from you

  • 2+ years relevant experience in online media sales or business development (preferably affiliate marketing) 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising/e-commerce/offline commerce
  • Experience growing customer base and revenue through customer acquisition
  • Confirmed and proven track record of building a strong sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (desired but not essential)
  • Ability to develop and execute business development plans that will achieve revenue and traffic targets through new advertising relationships
  • Strong persuasive communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver client ready Presentations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivation and enjoys working in a fast paced and results driven environment.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment

What you’ll be doing

  • Building deep long-term relationships with VoucherCodes partners
  • Owning a medium - large sized advertiser portfolio of important retailers as well as a few new business accounts 
  • Summarizing and presenting benefits of strategic partnership to prospect clients by themselves
  • Managing complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing new retailer/brand relationships
  • Analysing past campaigns’ performance and presenting to partners to secure repeat bookings and enhance long term relationships
  • Will assist and work on a company led initiative. This will usually be with a senior account manager/account director
  • Updating the partnerships team on any developments within this project 
  • Acting as a mentor to account executives and senior account executives 
  • Representing the VoucherCodes and RetailMeNot brands and products to C and S-level executives and at relevant industry events
  • Achieving quarterly revenue and new account addition targets
