The Team

The Mobile Engineering team is passionate about building Apps that help us save the world money! We have a mix of iOS and Android team setups. Engineers on our team work closely with Product, Marketing and other teams to build features that improve User experience and increase engagement with our apps. Technologies we use today include Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, Android Tools and GraphQL.

Who You Are

  • You love to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code. 
  • You have 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or in a relevant STEM field.
  • You show a proven understanding and application of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Experience developing, publishing, and maintaining native Android applications.
  • You're proficient with Java or Kotlin, Android Studio, Android SDK, & Android Tools.
  • You have an understanding of mobile architecture and native apps.
  • You have experience with common software engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence or similar

What You'll Do

  • You'll work closely with product and UI/UX to design both practical and creative native Android applications.
  • You'll develop native large-scale Android applications with a keen attention to detail and bug-free code.
  • You'll use your tech savviness to write and complete software tasks and projects.
  • You'll research new technologies and incorporate them into new systems and products.
  • You'll take the initiative in leading projects and collaborating with others.
  • You'll test, integrate, write, debug, and fix software applications.
  • You'll mentor more junior engineers on software engineering techniques, processes and new technologies.
  • You'll be responsible for the implementation of critical software components.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.
