Description

Resolver operates as a hybrid workforce with the option to work at home, in the office, or a mix of both. 

Resolver is looking for a Vice President of User Experience Research and Design to play a pivotal role in defining and executing a comprehensive UX strategy aligned with organizational goals. This role encompasses leadership in UX research, design, and advocacy to ensure the delivery of intuitive, user-centered experiences across all products and services.

Your day to day - let's break it down!: 

Design Leadership and Execution (30%) 

Measures of Success: Creation and adoption of quantitative metrics that reflect customer satisfaction and product perception

  • Oversee the UX Research and Design teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric experiences.
  • Drive the creation of intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that simplify complex use cases and delight users.
  • Define success criteria for user experience and inspire the team to effectively execute against them.
  • Coach the team in breaking down complex problems, testing hypotheses, and iterating towards best-in-class experiences

User Experience Strategy & Direction (25%)

Measures of Success: An established UX strategy and vision for User Experience feedback, win rate, adoption, and alignment to OKRS.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Product and Engineering to craft and communicate a unified UX vision and strategy.
  • Define clear metrics to measure the success of UX initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead major UX initiatives to enhance the Kroll technology and drive continuous improvement in user experience.
  • Document and communicate the UX strategy and vision, ensuring alignment across the organization.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication (25%)

Measures of Success: Adoption of user centric thinking & trusted relationships across the organization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of UX initiatives with product development efforts.
  • Communicate the value of empathy for users at all levels of the organization, advocating for user-centric thinking.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, validate designs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion the voice of the user in decision-making processes and ensure that user feedback informs product development priorities
Cultivating a User-Centric Culture (20%)

Measures of Success: Rapid feedback and iteration based on customer research and analytics
  • Foster a culture of informed decision-making that balances user needs with business objectives.
  • Mentor and coach the UX team to develop expertise and expand skills, fostering professional growth and advancement.
  • Advocate for the UX team within the organization, highlighting the value of user-centric design principles

What you will bring: 

  • Minimum 5 years of UX research and design experience, preferably in a B2B software environment.
  • Proven track record of coaching and directing UX researchers and designers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
