About the Role:

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to work closely with the Lead Project Engineer to provide support and expertise to the RES Construction Management Team. This role will include supervision of contractors, performance monitoring, and achievements of standards for projects (cost, time, safety, quality and environmental performance).


Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Actively promote and demonstrate achievement of company safety leadership and sustainability objectives.
  • Assists in the Construction Project Manager/s weekly and monthly reporting on construction status, risks, programme delivery, cost management, and HSEQ.
  • Quality Control Management and conformity to company HSEQ requirement
  • Assist in the procurement of contractors including scoping of work, running tenders and legal coordination for contracts.


Skills & Experience
  • Ability to manage interfaces, risks, and stakeholder needs.
  • Civil/Structural Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Full Australian Driver’s License.
  • Relevant post-graduate experience of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing engineering consultants.
  • Knowledge of Geotechnical structural design principles & survey techniques
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian engineering design, health, safety & environmental regulations relating to construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Team player who is happy to work independently and is experienced in working in virtual teams
