Summary:  As a member of the People & Culture team, the temporary P&C Coordinator supports administrative and operational aspects of People & Culture and all points of the employee life cycle, with a focus on entering and auditing data related to new hire and other employee transactions. The People & Culture Coordinator provides best in class customer service for employee’s People & Culture related needs, supports existing processes, and approaches work with growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities 

  

  • In support of two system implementations, the P&C Coordinator will be responsible for the entry and integrity of people data into multiple systems. (80%) 
  • Maintains employee records with diligence and high maturity regarding confidential information. 
  • Supports and backs up multiple processes in client services team, including promotions & transfers, pay changes, and employee account updates.  
  • Builds and runs regular reports for purposes of auditing consistent and accurate employee data across multiple systems. 
  • Becomes SME in all applicable systems and supports all present and future workflows. 
  • Maintains and updates standard operating procedures. 
  • May act as system administrator in Cornerstone, IFS, Paylocity and UKG.  

 

  • Comfortable working in ServiceNow ticketing system and able to manage, prioritize and complete requests within established SLAs. (10%) 
  • May act as first line response for employee and manager questions related to transactions.  
  • Escalates employee questions that require higher level of subject matter knowledge to the appropriate team member. 
  • May create and own knowledge articles, employee job aids and FAQ documents.   

 

  • Partners effectively with employees of all levels across the company, including client services team, business leaders and People & Culture business partners to streamline People & Culture business processes and enhance the employee and manager experience.

  • Utilizes People & Culture subject matter expertise and critical mindset to identify opportunities for efficient and effective processes for employee data.
  • Collaborates to create and implement solutions. 
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. 
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. 
  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. 
  • Effectively challenges others during decision-making processes and constructively manages People & Culture feedback. 
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. 

  

  

Qualifications: 

  • High school/GED is required. 
  • Associate’s degree is preferred. 
  • 1+ years of general office experience is preferred. 
  • 1+ years of People & Culture related experience is preferred. 

  

Required: 

  • A high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and timeliness is required for the completion of assigned work. 
  • Basic to intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to audit large data sets.  
  • Basic level of competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint). 
  • Must have experience with People & Culture processes and systems, including ATS (Applicant Tracking System), HRIS (Human Resources Information System), Payroll, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), LMS (Learning Management System). 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, research, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Good communicator (written and verbal) and able to build strong, effective relationships with team members and internal clients. 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team while assuming responsibility; ability to prioritize. 
  • Adaptable in the workplace and excited about change. 

  

Preferred: 

  • Basic knowledge and prior experience of People & Culture processes across multiple areas and the full employee life cycle (ex. talent acquisition, HR operations). 
  • Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve People & Culture processes with eye to employeeexperience. 

 

Anticipated base salary range:  $24/hr. - $29/hr.
