Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Marketing Manager with a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive digital B2B marketing strategies tailored to the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of relationship-driven digital marketing tools and techniques, combined with a passion for sustainability and renewable energy technologies. As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving impactful digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and foster customer engagement in the dynamic and rapidly growing renewable energy industry.
Key Accountabilities
  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives and target audience to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Content Marketing: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics, to educate and inform target audiences about the company's digital software solutions and their benefits in the renewable energy sector.

  • Website Development: Collaborate on the development and optimization of the company website to ensure it serves as an effective hub for lead generation, information dissemination, and customer engagement. Collaborate with internal teams or external agencies to implement SEO best practices, optimize user experience, and drive conversions.

  • SEO and SEM Management: Lead SEO and SEM efforts to optimize website traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize ROI on digital advertising campaigns targeting key renewable energy markets globally, with a specific focus on lead generation and capture.

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company's presence across various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, by developing compelling content, fostering community engagement, and leveraging paid advertising opportunities to drive lead generation.

  • Email Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive customer engagement, and promote new product launches or company initiatives within the renewable energy industry, with a focus on lead capture and conversion.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and generate actionable insights to optimize digital marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement in lead generation and conversion rates.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to align digital marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels, with a primary focus on lead generation and nurturing strategies.

  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the renewable energy sector to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic positioning, with a specific emphasis on lead generation strategies.

  • Events & Conferences: Work as part of cross-functional team to support success of internal and external events and conferences.
Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and commercial processes, best practices, and the ability to deliver effective sales strategies.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools preferred.

Experience
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing, with a strong emphasis on lead generation and conversion.
  • Deep experience in digital marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing within the renewable energy, clean tech, or software solutions industry.
  • Experience in website development and optimization, including knowledge of CMS platforms and understanding of web development best practices.
  • Experience working in an ambiguous environment with a willingness to stretch yourself outside typical role boundaries.
  • Experience working in a multicultural global environment.
  • Adaptive to rapid changes associated with start-up environments and leverage a collaborative mindset to grow and help various teams cross-functionally.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with teams and attend industry events.
