Electrical Technician – Renewable Energy
We’re hiring a skilled Electrical Technicians to maintain, repair, and install electrical systems across leading renewable energy technology. Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll lead maintenance efforts, support junior technicians, and ensure safety and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and inspect electrical/mechanical systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Replace faulty components and support installations
  • Ensure safety compliance and accurate record-keeping
  • Mentor junior technicians and collaborate across teams
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot systems
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inverters, VFDs, BESS, solar, or HV/LV systems (desirable)
  • Proficiency with maintenance software
Qualifications:
  • NSW Electrical Licence
  • Driver’s Licence, LVR/CPR, First Aid
  • Working at Heights & HV qualification (desirable)
  • High Risk Work Licences (e.g., boom lift, forklift)
 
Site Manager – Renewable Energy
We’re seeking a hands-on Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations across utility-scale renewable energy sites. You’ll oversee maintenance delivery, ensure safety and compliance, manage teams and contractors, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site operations with a focus on safety, budget, and performance
  • Supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring WHSE compliance
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders, managing permits and documentation
  • Deliver service scopes and support project teams with site investigations
  • Manage site spares, consumables, and subcontractors
  • Prepare reports, attend client meetings, and maintain site documentation
  • Promote a safety-first culture and lead WHSEQ initiatives
  • Ensure all equipment and PPE are fit for purpose
  • Travel between sites and head office as required
Skills & experience
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, HV/LV systems, and renewable technologies (BESS, solar, inverters)
  • Safety management and electrical risk expertise
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience as a Site Manager or in O&M for utility-scale renewables (2+ years preferred)
  • HV experience and inverter training (desirable)
Experience
  • Electrical qualification (Diploma/Degree preferred)
  • Electrical Licence (preferred)
  • LVR/CPR and First Aid certificates
  • Working at Heights (desirable)
