From its sites in Cambridge, Mass., and Zurich, Switzerland, Repertoire’s team of more than 80 is creating a new category of immune medicines enabled from its DECODE discovery platform.  Repertoire is currently using its proprietary platform to discover novel epitopes and TCRs from patients with autoimmune diseases such as type 1 diabetes and multiple sclerosis as well as to enable development of immune-oncology based therapeutics to treat solid tumors.  

Role Overview

This individual will be responsible for providing customer-centric technical support on all infrastructure technologies such as desktop computing, applications, and data networking.  S/he/they will also be responsible for managing and prioritizing the activities of our IT managed service provider.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at all organizational levels, prioritizing tasks, resolving unexpected challenges, and delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.  S/he/they will demonstrate strong collaboration, the ability to multi-task, and work independently on projects or assignments.  The individual must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and demonstrate attention to detail.  In addition, this individual will be knowledgeable on various business applications typically used in the biotech industry.  The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and be able to envision, design, and execute complex projects independently and through oversight of our IT managed service provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer-centric technical support on all infrastructure technologies such as desktop computing, applications, cyber security, and data networking.
  • Manage, prioritize, and collaborate with our IT managed service provider to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction as well as execution of system-improvement projects.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues.  Oversees and ensures systems and data security from internal and external threats while promoting continuous internal user security training.
  • Directs the development of a sourcing strategy and provides executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.
  • Interact with other teams to ensure the highest level of customer support and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee administration of all IT infrastructure end-point devices including computers, printers, phones (desk and mobile), and conference room technologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop strategies for problem remediation.
  • Analyze performance of desktop support activities and documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
  • Develop infrastructure and capability improvement plans, as well as business continuity and data backup plans, and take responsibility for their implementation.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with desktop support service level agreements (SLA).
  • Develop and implement help desk policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
  • Assist end users with set up and maintenance of business apps typically used in the biotech industry.


  • B.S. in Information Technology or related discipline preferred.
  • Typically 8 to 10 years of IT desktop support and cloud-based solutions experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry including years of desk
  • Expertise in desktop administration, customer service, incident/change/release management, and networking technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to all stakeholders and staff members.
  • Experience conducting IT-based change management to improve system performance.
  • Knowledge of both Windows Operating Systems and Mac Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, with expertise in configuring SharePoint a plus.
  • Laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting and configuration.
