Position Overview:

The Corporate Development & Strategy team is an exciting new function at Signify Health responsible for driving the organization’s growth strategy. We are seeking a [Senior Manager / Director] for the Corporate Development team focused on supporting the development and execution of acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnerships in harmony and conjunction with the company’s product roadmap and other strategic initiatives. A strong focus will be placed on identifying and researching market landscapes and analyzing specific deal opportunities. This individual will conduct market sizing, due diligence, financial modeling and valuation analysis, and [play a critical role in] deal structuring and negotiation. The ideal candidate will also work collaboratively with other business stakeholders in identifying M&A and strategic partnership opportunities that unlock new markets, product or service expansion, and platform enhancement. This individual will also develop and maintain a level of industry acumen and be able to support strategic conversations with executive stakeholders.


Education/licensing requirements:

  • BA or BS required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 – 7+ years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate development, corporate strategy, or similar field
  • Strong transaction experience in executing M&A and/or strategic growth initiatives

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Strong research and analytical skills, able to structure complex problems, effectively search for key relevant information, and summarize core findings
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills with the ability to build and analyze financial analyses including operating, valuation, pro forma, and financing models
  • Deep understanding of deal terms and ability to structure and negotiate terms
  • Sharp industry acumen, demonstrating and continuing to develop expertise and knowledge in the healthcare technology and services space
  • Willingness to develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Robust communication skills and executive presence, able to correspond effectively and present information succinctly to executive stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting key deliverable deadlines and process milestones while managing various stakeholders
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluently speak, read, and write English

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the deal pipeline for strategic partnership/investment/M&A opportunities alongside other members of the Corporate Development team
  • Collaborate with other business units and stakeholders on build-buy-partner strategies
  • Perform direct market and company research; engage with various participants in the healthcare ecosystem
  • Conduct deal execution activities, including due diligence, financial modeling and valuation analysis, and coordinate across cross-functional deal teams
  • Develop and present deal materials, including company or transaction briefings, management materials, and Board materials
  • Directly support and contribute to the development of the vision, strategy, and direction of Signify’s Corporate Development group and approach to M&A
